Our Story

The concept for College Club Critic started when the three founders realized how difficult it was to find genuine information about campus clubs. After joining several organizations that didn’t match their expectations, they knew there had to be a better way.

“We spent countless hours at club fairs, reading vague descriptions and hoping for the best,” recalls co-founder Parker Hausmann. “We wanted to create what we wished we had as freshmen – honest, detailed reviews from students who had actually been there.”

What began as a simple spreadsheet shared among friends has grown into a nationwide platform helping thousands of students make informed decisions about their campus involvement.

I struggled to find the right clubs while abroad my first semester, which inspired me to create College Club Critic as a resource for students coming into Chapel Hill. With my background in entrepreneurship, leadership, and campus involvement, I bring the skills to build a platform that helps students discover where they truly belong.

With the massive amount of clubs at New York University Jack felt overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. At Club Critic Jack, as head of product development, ensures that the students come first. His main priority at all times is to ensure the site provides the perfect mix of feedback and guidance to make sure all students can find the right club for them.
